Getting to Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV)

    • By plane – Valencia airport
      Valencia airport is located in the nearby town of Manises, about 8 km away from the city.
      Best way to reach the hotels and UPV Campus from the airport is either taking a taxi or the underground.
      Taxi: the journey takes about 25 minutes and costs about 25 €
      Underground: Line 3 and 5 go to the center. You need to buy the cardboard (1 €) and load a single ticket (3.90 €) to the city center.

      Tarongers and Serreria (tram-line) are the closest stops to the meeting venue.
      Maritim-Serreria is the closest stop to the recommended hotels.
    • By train – Train from Madrid
      Valencia is connected via high speed train (AVE) with Madrid (one train per hour, one hour and a half duration), for more information visit http://www.renfe.com/.
      From Barajas airport to Atocha station in Madrid you can take a taxi with flat rate 30 € or take a train (one every half an hour, half an hour duration).
      Best way to reach the hotels and UPV Campus from the AVE train station in Valencia (Joaquin Sorolla) is either taking a taxi or the underground.
      By taxi: the journey takes about 15 minutes and costs around 10 €.
      Underground: a shuttle bus takes passengers to Xativa stop (Metro Line 3, 5 and 9).
